12-13 year old smoking! Average age to start?

  • Ok so I'm 13, never smoked, NOT PLANNING to. But already 6 people in my grade (12-13 yrs old) are smoking tobacco so I'm wondering what's the average age to start? (i wont dont worry) so when did you start? if you smoke that is. or what do you think is the average age? xox thanks! becuase Im thinking my classmates are crazy... Athere is this girl she said shes smoking becuase she wants to stay thin. I think thats crazy anyway pls answer, remember 10 points ^

Dont ever start! Smoking is a total turn off....well for me especially since I don;t smoke. If you kiss someone that somkes....YUCK! not good at all!

well tobacco companies target to that age cuz its easier to get them addicted... the average age is 13 and 90% of smokers start before 18

Smoking is like Christianity, a disease of the mind that has brought nothing but pain and misery down upon the human race. My advice is just sit back and watch the smokers die at a young age, and have no sorrow whatsoever for them, I laugh in their faces. Idiotic scum, smokers. The only smokers I have pity for are the ones that are old and were forced to the 'old days'.

that is ridiculous! i would never have imagined people smoke so young! i'm not sure what the average age to start is, i would have guessed 16ish but times are changing and i wouldn't be surprised if it was lower than this. well done for not smoking though! x
