Can you walk after bunion surgery?

You think surgery is a good idea for bunion.?

  • Answer:

Actually the previous answer has some truth. Some people are longer healers. You need to be clear and discuss you pain issues with your Physician. You need to tell you Dr. what you are feeling and be honest in whether or not you properly and completely followed each and every post operative instruction that was given to you. I.E. if you were walking more than you should have at a time earlier than specified, this can cause added pain and healing time. Did you happen to go to a Podiatric Surgeon. If not perhaps you should look into finding one as they are very skilled and trained in the foot.

I seen that you asked this question twice and I felt inclined to try and answer even though I am not a doctor, but maybe you can try getting a second a opinion (if affordale). Of course it will be your final desicion, If having a bunion on the other foot causes you pain still you sould concider getting it done. Some people are slower to heal depending on your health. I hope that this can help you alittle because I know it's not much and I wish you good luck and even better health.
