If you are looking for an action packed and great story line then I suggest you check out an anime series called one piece! ATM there is over 500+ episodes and it is still on going. One peace is ranged number three in the top anime list, bleach is number one and naruto is number three. One piece is basically about a young man who aspires to become he worlds greatest pirate. The young mans name is Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy wants to be the pirate king some day, so he sets out on a journey as a pirate. During the course of this series Luffy begins to assemble his own team of highly skilled pirates...in this series Luffy do not refer to his crew as pirates, but Nakama. NAKAMA MEANS FRIENDS. If you are bored and need some action then I suggest you choose this awesome anime! Thank you! And food luck.

Desert punk is badass I thought i was the only person who like it/saw it. you should keep looking, i have great taste! Durarara is a great show that's not like the rest. eden of the east is a very different show with twist and mystery Zettai Shougeki: Platonic Heart has The BEST ending you will ever see!!! but it has some nude fight scenes but nothing kinki Kanokon is a complete comedy too me, it has romance and stuff but is supper funny, and is ecchi but this is a very sexual series nothing happens but there always right there. Baka and test is the funniest show out I believe... last is sekirei which is a top 3 anime to me favorite of mine I think u should give them a try... there the best I have seen! ALL are english dubbed

There so many different kinds so I will list good ones per genre. Shonen: Fairy Tail. Shojo/Romance: Kimi ni Todoke. Mecha: Code Geass. Gore: Elfin Lied. Yuri: Strawberry Panic. Psychological: Monster. Best anime ever in my opinion: Cowboy Bebop.

The 2 best I know are Fullmetal Alchemist - both versions, and Death Note. The only two anyone should ever see if they see any series. slice of life?
