How do I save a picture from quickmeme?

  • Every time I try to save a picture from this website, it saves it as a .gif and won't let me view it. How can I save these pictures?

It's actually way easier than that. For example, lets say you've got a meme like this one http://www.quickmeme.com/meme/4pd9/ then in the Address Bar of your browser change it to http://i.qkme.me/4pd9.jpg (that is, i.qkme.me/<whatever 4-digit code was in the original url>.jpg) Then right-click and save the picture. Simple.

I personally use snipping tool to get my pictures, but only some laptops and (very few) desktops have it. ~Kevin.
