Can you help me find this manga?

the manga starts off as an assassin going into kill these two kids. the kills one of them, but decides to let the other one live, taking him with him. the manga jumps to years later. a girl has joined the two and the boy has magical powers. thats about all the plot i can remember. :( if anyone has an idea that would really be helpful also the name might have the word demon in it hope all that helps :)
