What does a production assistant do?

Any job leads for a Production Assistant in a Los Angeles animation studio?

  • I am looking for work as a Production Assistant at an animation studio. I have some experience doing just that at Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank where I was recently laid off. I am competent, intelligent and enthusiastic. Does anyone know of any animated productions in need of a PA, or any good resources for finding such a job? I am relatively new to the industry so "who I know" is not helping me. I live in Hollywood and would like to work in the areas of Burbank/Glendale/Hollywood but would consider commuting to, say, Culver City for a project of limited duration. Any and all help is appreciated.
