What are some uncommon, dark Japanese names?

Japanese names for twins? And what do these names mean?

  • Please tell me what: Hikari-Hakaru means Mitsuki-Mitsuko means Ayame meams And please give me two names that are good for twins. Like both of the names meaning ex. Happy. Or like they compliment eachother like Kumo(clouds) and Sora(sky) plus these names are for both sexs. Or if the names rhyme but mean different things. Thanks

  • Answer:

Hikari (fem) means "light" and Hikaru (male and female) means "light; ray of light" - So the two joined names basically mean the same thing. Mitsuki (fem) means "Beautiful moon" and Mitsuko (fem) - (mistsu)-"light"-(ko)-"child" Ayame (fem) means "Iris" _______________________ AKEMI (fem) means- (ake)-"bright" and (mi)-"beautiful". AKI (OTHER SCRIPTS: 晶, 明, 秋, 亜希) - 晶 "sparkle", 明 "bright" or 秋 "autumn" Each of these give the name a different meaning. _______________________ You also have to remember all the symbols in the Japanese language. (I have used example with AKI) Each name has different symbols and if you change one symbol in each name it changes the meaning completely. So you would have to look that up and be careful.
