How can i do a homemade anime cosplay for cheap?

How should I dress up/cosplay to portray an anime geek kind of thing?

• My school is doing a "Haunted Hallways" thing and our theme is haunted school so for my committee's hallway we're doing the cliched cliques of high school but in a twisted scary way. I'm supposed to be the anime nerd cliche and I'm not really sure how to dress that up in a creepy way. Please help!!! I'm open to any and all ideas as long as their "school appropriate". Its in two weeks so the more and faster the better. Thanks!!!! =)

  Oh jeeze, I wish I could do that! It seems fun!! Well...by anime nerdy cliche do you mean one of those people that go around with all this anime merchandise, talking about it all the time and correcting anyone that's wrong? Ahaha, sounds like me... Well anyways, this is what you could do: 1) Get into some dark anime if you don't already know some. (Death Note, Serial Experiments: Lain...basically anything gory or to do with death) 2) If you have any, get a few small anime dolls (plushies) and walk around with them all the time. It would make you seem obsessed, and a good 'twisted' way to go. 3) Clothing. Now, if you can, you could cosplay as a dark character. Preferably a gory one at that, to make you look even more nerdy. If anyone asks who you're supposed to be, turn to them and say "I'm [/Insert characters name here]! How can you NOT know that?!" or something of the kind to make you seem more nerdy. 4) Talk about anime all night. Especially dark ones, or at least make it SEEM dark. Or maybe talk about how a certain character died, you laughed a lot. Something that'll make you seem totally insane (within the school rules of course~) 5) And the next day: Tell everyone that you were just joking, 'got into character a bit too much', and aren't really like that. At least then, they won't worry about you xD Hope I helped~!
