What happened to yahoo's spell check?

    Mine is an on and off situation, one day it works, the next it doesn't. I consider myself an excellent speller but sometimes I do type faster than I should and make minor errors.. THe spell check was practically useless at offering words that in no way resembled the original, if it do . I just used it as a way of pointing out errors in spelling and correct them myself. Even if it stumbled on the correct word, Y/A must have programmed to believe all English words are capitalized or is encouraging us to write in all caps which is the same thing as yelling, offensive to most people and definitely to me. Another mysterious oddity is that spell check usually hyphenates all the words suggested.

I think they got rid of it. Someone brought this up a few days ago and I have noticed it wasn't working. Guess they are doing some budget cutbacks as well.

yahoo is taking away services (pop up dictionary is another) in order to make IE 8 look more appealing . They elude that all will be well if you switch. look for even more probs in the future.

THAT'S a totally good question.........It disspears and reappears and the one Above is never to be found which is supposed to be with tools ! If you make a mistake and it dissapears ( the spell check ) just continue typing and it usually reappears .
