What kind of typing tests do hosipital make you do?

Is it a clerical job? That requires minimal typing. If it were a job where you typed all day long in a typing pool or for a doctor, they would have specified and weeded you out. Don't be so scared. You can type here (okay with one mistake) and yes, you will have to know basic medical terms, but you can type "influenza" or shorten it to "the flu", "urinary", "uterus" - that kind of thing is what you will be typing. If it were specialized, you would have to take a course in medical terminology. So you will be fine. The best thing you can do is get a good dinner the night before, a good night's sleep, make sure your clothes are picked out and ready and you leave yourself plenty of time to get there.
