Hey everyone I'm doing this kind of reflective response survey for my class and were talking about college students perception of the writing you do in college so if you could take a few minutes could you please explain: What you wish you would've know about college writing the summer before you officially started college. and How you think college writing compares to high school writing? We want thorough responses of what you all think :) This ultimately is focused on what you would have liked to know about COLLEGE WRITING before you started college for the first question. Than for the second question it's focused on how COLLEGE WRITING compares to HIGH SCHOOL WRITING...

  I wish I would have understood the differences between college standards and the standards of my high school. I hadn't realized how hardcore my high school was lol. College writing is a breeze for me, but because I expected higher standards, I put more effort into my papers than I needed to and stressed more than I should have. I've also had professors who don't really care about how many sources I have or require one of each different type of source. They're much more laid-back about it. This probably is going to be the minority in the answers based on my classmates opinions, but apparently I hadn't given my high school as much credit as it deserved.
