Michelle is right. You still need to work on your English. Aside from that, you need to build up your french vocabulary. Start making index cards of common words. Like water, home, car, etc... After you get decent at that, tackle a few verbs. You'll need a text book to help with the verbs. The French have a different way of conjugating verbs. In english we conjugate "to be" a number of ways: "are", "is", "was" etc... So the two most important verbs you need to learn to conjugate en francais is "to be" <etre> and "to have" <avoir>. Once you start with those two verbs and a few nouns, you'll be on your way. The rest depends on how much you work at it. bon chance!

Well I've heard that French people MAKE you speak their language if you go over there, but they seem to be proud of their language so maybe try to meet someone French online?
