Answer:
Is it legal? yes. Is it a legitimate buisness? Thats really for you decide as far as your personal business ethics and standards. Basically you sign up with an upline guy who puts you on his team. You then turn around and "market" products they offer and try to sign up people under you, to market the products they "sell" . Apparently you receive residual income from the products and services that you represent through their company, like cell phone and sattelite services Now with this company the most emphasis is placed on recruiting representatives. According to the better buisness bureau if " the plan focuses more on recruiting others than on selling products or services" you should avoid investing in this buisness. In my opinion: Fortune is great for those who don't mind looking at their friends and family as dollar signs. You can probably make a boatload of money down the road somewhere if you invest in a lot of time and money in order to build up your "downline". But in reality, the majority of educated business professionals realize that this is a classic pyramid scheme. There is no easy road to wealth. With Multi Level Marketing those at the top of the *ahem* pyramid, will make alot of money on the backs of those who will pay the $299 initial fee and other costs. Eventually, the number of people in any given area will begin to be saturated, and those willing to sign up will decrease. I live in a larger metro area and have been approached several times by fortune reps trying to get me to sign up. Not in any of their pitches, was the marketing of products offered emphasized as much as recruitment. Im sure whoever posted this was just a rep trying to get a window to recruit. So this is probably all just a waste of everyones time.
