How to earn extra income for my family?

Any suggestions on how to earn a 2nd income?

On top of that, get some work in the hospitality field were you can make good tips. Depending what you do and were you go you can bring in as little as $40 per day and as much as $300. So if I was you I would apply at a casino, hotel or any position were I interact with the spending public. I've met hard working hotel people who own there condos very much in fact of having choosen this path. Good luck and keep looking to improve and learn always !

Try getting a bar job, evening or weekend work in a supermarket. I've seen employment agencies advertise for meter readers, factory workers, all sorts of part time jobs with hours to suit. Look around you will get something. But whatever you do, don't go for working from home or nay other 'get rich quick' scheme.

I did the Avon catalogue for a while for some extra money. You have to be quite committed in order to earn something reasonable from it (especially if, like I did, you order stuff for yourself every month, too). About a year ago I started doing proofreading on the side for extra money. It pays well but there are two big milestones you have to get past first. The first is you have to learn how to do it. I learnt through my day-job as a publisher's secretary, but other people do the distance-learning courses that are sometimes advertised in the backs of magazines. The second thing is actually getting some clients. I emailed over 100 publishers from the Writers Handbook and heard back from about six. However, I now proofread fiction novels for both Random House and Transworld, so good things can happen. Good luck to you.
