What do you buy a construction management student?

• My boyfriend recently started his training to become a construction manager. I want to buy him a gift that he can use throughout his career but I don't know much about construction managers. Thanks in advance.

  You really had me thinking about this for quite some time. I've been around quite a few major construction sites around Canada for the past few years and I couldn't figure out what he could use. Anything he brings on site is personal and gets ruined on the job site so it won't last for long. Anything else is provided by the employer so he really doesn't need anything like tools or writting equipment. But there is something that would really be interesting and somewhat unique. Sometimes, you can get interesting models of construction equipment and the most interesting are cranes. All major construction sites have cranes and this would aspire him to work his way up to a major project. Best of luck in finding something suitable. Usually crane construction companies give these as promotional items but you may be able to find one somewhere.
