What to do when my tongue is bleeding?

What does it mean when ur tongue piercing wont stop bleeding and i had it for two days now?

    There are several large veins in your tongue, if it's bleeding quite a bit and fairly constantly, a vein may have been nicked. If this is the case, removed the jewelry and be prepared with some gauze to put pressure on the hole until it stops bleeding. It may bleed quite a bit for 10 minutes or so. Keep the pressure on it. The tongue heals pretty quickly and infection is not common. If it's bleeding only a little, and it's mostly saliva tinted with a little red, it may be a small tear or you are a slow healer. Let it rest, don't play with it AT ALL and it will heal. You did not do anything wrong by eating solid food, as long as you are careful and clean it right away (NO LISTERINE, use BIOTENE).

If you aren't going to be responsible enough to follow instructions after piercing, then you shouldn't have gotten it done. Besides, tongue piercings are gross and they are bad for your teeth and gums in the long run. I'd definitely go to the dr, having an infection in your tongue could be a very bad thing.
