How to negotiate to companies,when opening a job consultancy firm?

  • As a placement firm, how and what all we need to negotiate to a company and the candidate? Like what all contracts need to be signed between the job consultancy firm and the candidate? How much of the salary percentage or commission should be charged? Do we charge the company also for offering the apt candidates? How to negotiate with companies? Is a contract needed between the two? How many kinds of jobs are there: -Contract -Contract to hire -Permanent ? Do we have any more categories and how we talk about them to companies or candidate.     present trend in manpower consultancy is: -free placements to candidates (remember! u need CVs to start talking to companies confidently before offering them candidates from your consultancy) -charge companies who want candidates -charge the company 'one months salary' of the candidate appointed after he reports to duty -send invoice with one week's credit for companies to pay -u may also need to offer them 6 months replacement (if candidate u send resigns within 6 months from joining u may have to give them another suitable candidate for free bcoz u already received payment) -Good Luck !
