UPS lost my package. What do I do?

UPS package lost? Please help?

• So I sent a package with ups and it is the most important package of my life , it had my passport, $250 money order, a visa application and so on, ups lost it and I also lost my job because of this, the ? I had for you is the owner of the ups store never even asked me if I wanted to insure it so now all I get back is a lousy $100, is he required to ask me If I want to insure it or did he purposely not ask me to benefit his horrible company?

  The service in most of those places is lousy. You need to do other people's thinking for them to protect yourself. That's life. You sure it went out UPS? because if it did you should have gotten a tracer # & find out what happened to it. Those places also handle Fed-Ex (also tracer #) & USPS (Post Office) which does not necessarily use a tracer #. (btw: Priority Mail is a waste of $$) In the future if it's THAT important don't take chances, take it directly to the Post Office or Fed-Ex office or UPS office (NOT UPS STORE). Like Grandpa said, don't blame them, they're uneducated & usually have some kind of attitude problem.
