What does processed mean in shipping?

USPS "electronic shipping info received" well after other updates?

• I sent a package on the 12th from office depot. The letter carrier was there and scanned it in front of me. Tracking details show that scan as "Accepted". Then there were three more updates: sorted in my city on 12/12; processed thru facility in another state on 12/14; processed thru another facility in yet another state on 12/15. Then on the 20th the update says "electronic shipping info received". It's expected delivery was the 19th. (no worries -- I know it's a very busy time for usps). But why is the electronic info received now after so much other activity? Does this mean something happened on the 20th but it just wasn't given a specific event name (like "processed" or "accepted" etc)? Thanks. This is mystifying and n

  I am having the same issues too Which makes it more worst, we are sending food , frozen ones too and its been 4 days already! so i mailed out some goods to my aunt in North Carolina through USPS Priority mail (2-3) days on dec 18th, From San Jose Ca To NC, and from the looks of it, it's pass 5 days and the package it's not even updating! It's a bunch of asian Frozen food too and all these other foods! it should be there yesterday already but there's no update. SO MAD UGHHH. 19 hours ago - 3 days left to answer. Additional Details i am no seller or anything, i'm just sending a package to my aunt that i sent out to usps, i went there myself and even layed it on the counter where all the pre-purchases labels are at. The tracking printed on the box and was sealed up , i don't know by now, either the package might got stolen now or maybe it's just lost somewhere.. don't know what to do now, my asian family keep asking me questions
