Does Scottrade have any hidden fees?

Can someone please tell me why banks are so hidden with their fees?

  • I am just in the process of changing banks. I have found that Wells Fargo has become more and more hidden with their fees? Is there a reason for this, or are they trying to be sneaky? When I first started banking with them, I didn't notice this as much. Now I have noticed it recently. One of the reasons also is that they change their accounts often, and don't offer the same accounts regularly. What have been your observations if any about the bank's hidden fees?

  • Answer:

    Banks are legalized loan sharks

If your bank has a hidden fee get a lawyer. You could sue them and take over the bank. It is illegal for a bank to have a hidden fee. By law, they have to allow you to see the fees online. Usually under terms and conditions or under fee schedule. By law they have to notify you if you are going to have bank changes. (all banks have changed - even mine). They send me plenty of information by mail, and add notices on my statements. They cannot be sneaky.
