When would be the best time to list my eBay item?

EBAY HELP. Can someone by my item from a different country?

• I am selling an item on ebay and someone sent me a message asking if I can ship it to them in italy and that they do have paypal? Does that mean I have to list it internationally? But I dont know how she has viewed the item if she lives in Italy in the first place? I want to say yes I can send it to Italy But i don't know if there are any charges and also does it cost a lot to post to Italy and if so how to I increase the postage price on my item for international people? Sorry its a lot of questions and I can't seem to find the answer on the help page on ebay. This is my first time selling so i'm new to this all. Thanks in advance :)

  Your item is already visible in Italy. I would not do it because I have heard that Italy has such bad mail problems. And unless you ship it FedEx or UPS you get no tracking information to prove you shipped it if buyer does not receive it. When buyer opens claim, they always win. You get a Customs No but that is not proof. I went through this with a customer in Japan. Every country where Ebay is available views your item in their own currency on their own country Ebay site. Look at the bottom of the Ebay home page to see the countries. Look at the carrier websites to see what shipping costs so you can tell the buyer.
