How do I write a good peer review?

Has anyone had to deal with a peer review board at the company. like a grievance group of managers and hourly.

• filed a challenge on a write up i received, spoke to one of the panel members about my situation because he works in my department. day before review he disqualifies himself because i spoke with him. the morning of the review, hr went looking for replacement, found one and conducted the review. two days later, i received a letter stating that my review was denied because i spoke to this panel member who had disqualified himself. on the front of the challenge paper, it says that if i speak to any member, my review would be denied. i did not know that at that time. but my argument to all this is, they knew ahead of time that he had disqualified himself and they found a replacement for him. these are the same people that made the rules for the challenge and should have known about that rule. but they conducted the review anyway and then afterwards they denied my review. is this or is it not discrimination?

  Its not discrimination. Just an oversite on their part. Don't go talking to anyone else about this until you have your meeting.
