Throwing big party, what would it cost?

  • Okay so, for my 18th i'm thinking of renting a nearby hall and turning it into a kind of nightclub theme, i was wondering what the cost would be for it, heres the details - Alcohol for 750 people - Bar hire x 2 - Lighting - Dj hire - waiter hire - Security guard hire - Equipment needed for bars - 2 x minibars - tables, chairs ect - Speaker set up - Lighting crew - Large TV display - 15 dance performers And anything else you think is needed, i just want the estimated cost. You might think I'm crazy but i want it to be a awsome night, and parents have agreed to pay it (I'm pretty sure they can afford whatever) Thanks!

you've been watching too much MTV,kid. Get real. Your only 18...you can't legally even buy a small can of cheap beer and you're talking about getting booze for 750 people? I don't think you're crazy,I think you are a spoiled kid who is trying to show-off. 90% of the people who show up are just going to show up for the booze,get drunk,and the next day forget about it. Most likely resent you for having so much money and then think your some rich snob and not even want to talk to you. Money can't buy friends. And from the sound of it,your are trying to buy 750 of them. You want to party like an adult? Think like an adult first. the money you spend on this party can be a down payment on a house that you can have to throw parties in. Jeezus..you kids today are as sharp as a bat.

If you live in the US you should also retain a good lawyer in case some of the 750 happen to be <21.
