How do I start a consulting business with very little start-up capital?

How does one start up a telephone consulting business?

• I want to start up a brewing consulting business but I'm not sure about the logistics. If someone could clue me in that would be great, thanks! Also, how much money would I be looking to start up?

  Advertise, Network with frinds, make several bussness cards on your computer I meen styles experment, If you have a copier this should be simple find what are called templates in microsoft word or works and experment, you can add pitchers, grafics or my faveret thumbnails of clip art. Experment with fonts & colers it will be fun defining your COpANy. A good place to experment is note pad. HINT- find some used paper & print on clean side or half, then cut them to size (I cot them with a box knife & ruller) rember these are samples so it is ok to give them to people.! Give to friends and famly & ask them what they think ? But don't take them back-tell them to keep it or better yet to pass it on to some one that might be intersted in your Co. You could allso leave them in bars and where ever you buy supplys. When you get 1 or 2 you like or that works you can go to a printing Co. and spend some money but I would go to Walmart or office supply store & buy some AVERY or other brand of printable CARD-STOCK paper and print at home.
