How can I retract my bid on eBay?

How do i retract a bid on ebay?

  • i bid on something on ebay and i want to retract my bid, how do i do that?

  • Answer:

You can as long as there's still 12 hours remaining in the auction, if there's less it can't be retracted. Use this link: http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RetractBidShow&guest=1 All of the other people have no idea what they're talking about.

contact the seller. technically you can't retract bids, but the seller can cancel certain ones.

Who, me?

You have to contact the seller and ask if you can. Retracting a bid is oftena no-no on eBay. You have to be sure of what you want before you bid.

Bella

You cant. Once you submit your bid, it's entered and if you win you are obligated to purchase it.

You can't. You're stuck with it. Auctions are a gamble. Just hope that someone outbids you.

You can't :( Unless it was a genuine mistake such as you bid £3000 instead of £300....contact ebay's help page and they'll help you if they can.

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!! As a general rule, you can’t retract or cancel a bid. When you place a bid, you agree to pay for the item if you’re the winning bidder. However, honest mistakes sometimes occur. You can retract a bid if you have a valid reason for doing so as defined by eBay policy and you retract the bid within the required time period. Valid reasons for retracting a bid include: * You accidentally entered the wrong bid amount due to a typographical error. * The item’s description changed significantly after you entered your last bid. * You can’t reach the seller by telephone or email. Changing your mind is not a valid reason for retracting a bid. Before bidding, be sure to carefully review the listing. If you need to retract a bid, review the conditions for retracting a bid. If you meet the conditions and understand the results of doing so, fill out a Bid Retraction form. To retract a best offer, use the Best Offer Cancellation form Good luck!! I have totally been in your situation!
