How does the owner of non profit organizations get paid? and how much money, how does it work?

obviously non for profit owners dont get payed from the "business" because they are donating rather than supplying. so how does the owner get paid from the goernment how does it work?

Government and/or charity. The organization itself is not for profit, but the employees still have to be paid, even the employer. The organization and the owner are two different things.
