Things to know before buying on eBay?
-
I'm planning to make a purchase on eBay tonight... but it will be the first time I have done so. I am leaving it until the last minute to try and get a winning bid, and I don't want anything like setting up accounts to get in my way. Is there anything I have to do before I buy stuff on eBay? Like, do I need a PayPal account? The seller they will accept bank deposit, just to clarify, is this done by getting account and bsb numbers and transferring money that way? Will I still need a PayPal account if I am going to do that? That is my main question, but any tips, or things I should know about, would be greatly appreciated :-) Thanks!

Answer:
You should know that almost no US seller accepts bank transfers. The very thought of it scares the hell out of me. Please read the page linked at eBay:
