Where can i post my items i want to sell at?

I want to sell used items on ebay is this a good idea for extra income?

  • i am a single mother of 3 currently i watch a child and recieve 600 per month for it i also recieve 400 per month for child support> i am trying to get more money so that i can do more things for my kids so i am interested in selling on ebay! is it hard? i want to sell used clothes that are in excellent shape! and a few other things that my kids grew out off! do you think this would be potentionally a good way to make some extra income? if so how much do most people make monthly on selling used items? i no it depends on the item and how many items i have for sell... but could someone give me and example ? please help me i need extra income !!! please no surveys! or scams i am only interested in ebay thankyou!

    Yes you can absolutely can make extra income selling used stuff on ebay. There are tons of people that do it all the time. I'm one of them. No, I don't think it is a good idea. Much of the small stuff sold on eBay is new in box or collectable and just plain used stuff is going to get lost in the shuffle. I have had good luck selling unique (old from my youth) items, but barely covered costs on magazine collections where I didn't want to dump them but would take almost anything. You are selling something that has to match for size and you are in competition with the dozens of yard sales that occur every month where people just like you are selling just what you have for pennies on the dollar as well as the charity shops with yards and yards of hanging rods with clothes arranged by size.

It can help, but only if you have a lot of things in good condition. The downside is that it's not a sustainable source of income -- as soon as you run out of things to sell, your income will stop. Unless you can somehow get hold of a steady stream of new items, it won't help for long.
