Entrepreneur Ideas for Teens?

I need some ideas to bring kids in to our church. we are looking for teens?

  • I need some ideas to bring kids in to our church. we are looking for teens? my dad is a pastor of a church and there are only about 4 kids in it. i need some ideas to draw more kids in. we are looking for teens mostly atm because the kids we do have are toddlers so we need some teens :P any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

    You have to find or create a place to bring kids that age together in a FUN but safe enviroment...Find a place for them to meet and play games or just hang out to watch tv or listen to music or do homework together or just talk...If there is an area of your church like sunday school rooms or basement fix it up ,,paint it in teen style ( let them help to design it). Ask for donations or have sales to get $ to buy furniture or things that will help it be more fun .You will get alot of games and books and maybe even computer or tvs that people would have given to the Salvation Army or have around their homes that they don't use anymore...If not buy them by having yard sales, bake sales or car washes...Make it a FUN but Respectable place..Kids are always looking for places to hang out, just to be able to be together..But always have it chapporoned to keep it safe and drug free etc.. From there you can go to next level and start organized activities like going bowling , movies ,skating etc..,maybe they will get together as friends and have a volunteer night to help in soup kitchens or help older people with doing some sort of volunteer things ..But the secret is to MAKE it fun and sociable and safe. Well, maybe you could show a teen movie that teens Would like. Or set up a activity night and play biblical games, What we do in my church is We have Saturday movie night, And play games, We answer questions about the movie we watched to see who payed attention. "In handcuffs." bahahahah!!! My church has like a special teen mass where more teens can get involved with like singing and the readings and they do instrumentals on the songs. I don't go but I've heard most of the teenagers in myparish attend that mass.

you have to have some activities that interest them....have some field trips where you go out and help some unfortunate folks. If all you want to do is preach to the kids, you'll never get them interested. Make it fun and show how helping others is the right thing and fun thing to do. Your church should be the real world, helping real people, not just preaching fire and brimstone and superstitions. Kids see through that BS.
