How to get in the gaming industry and what jobs are there to offer? Any experience needed?
-
In 11th grade (Junior) in high school. I'm really interested in going into the gaming industry. All my life, I have had nothing but a passion for games and movies. Going into the industry would be a dream. I'm clueless as to how to get into it though. What do I go to college for and what jobs are there within the gaming field? And how much do they pay? Please any links or additional info would be helpful. Thanks!

Answer:
Many jobs in the gaming industry are for computer developers. Your best bet is to learn as much about programming languages and software developing as possible. Obviously there's a huge range depending on experience, company, position, etc. But the more skilled you are, the better you get paid.
