How does Disney Channel make money considering they never show commercials?
-
They just show more previews for more shows and movies premiering on Disney channel.
-
Answer:
Their channel is just a part of the Disney conglomerate. They can use it to market their movies, Disneyland, and other Disney businesses. They put the money they make from them, back into the Disney Channel. Without commercials, they keep their brand name pure and have complete say over the content. With commercials, they lose that control.
