How do buy an item in ebay using paypal?

Ebay ?. If I won the item using "Buy Now"...?

  • and i change my mind about it, do i still have to pay it? Is it obligatory and/or will it affect my credit if i dont want it anymore? Thanks for your help!

  • Answer:

Yes, you are obligated. When you selected Buy It Now it clearly explained that you are making a commitment to pay for the item on the confirmation page. You might contact the seller and ask for an out, but since it cost the seller EBay fees to to list and sell the item they probably would at least require you to cover those costs. Based on the price of the item that fee could be substantial, and you would be "stealing" that from the seller. It will also get you a red slash and feedback on your EBay account, possibly preventing other sellers from allowing you to bid or purchase other items.

Uh.... I believe you are obligated to pay for it... it does ask you to CONFIRM before you hit the final page. I think you may have an extremely short grace period to get out of it. Check the terms and stuff on ebay. You may also want to communicate with the seller AFTER you read what your options are from ebay.com It won't effect your credit score but it WILL most likely effect your ebay score.

It is obligatory but you always can email the seller and tell them that you clicked a wrong key or it was your 3 years old or a cat jumped on the keyboard

Aleks

Technically, the seller could sue you

if you just clicked " buy now" and didn't go to the next screen and click "confirm buy now", the system kicked you out and you didn't buy anything. if you did click "confirm.." then you are stuck with it. if you don't fulfill the obligation, ebay can suspend your account

You cant just decide you dont want it anymore. After you clicked buy it now it said "ARE YOU SURE" You should have clicked cancel then....just pay for it.

Jordan

it's optional.

you basically signed a contract saying you were buying it. unless the seller will taake it back, its yours

Just re sell it after you make sure that you haven't been cheated, its the simplest way to get your money back.
