Hey i want to buy gaming console but some what confused which one should i prefer?ps3 or xbox 360?

both are just as good,but it realy depends on your tv

i would get an xbox even though everyone doesn't agree because you can play halo3 and ODST and you have xbox live and microsoft puts it out so what about the blue ray I RECOMMEND XBOX

I say look into the games. That's what it comes down to. And the Ps3 also has the Blu-Ray player. But depending on what type of games you like, could make the decision for you. If you only like the games that come out on both platforms i would say the Ps3 for the Blu-ray.

i prefer the xbox360 i am a huge xbox fan.it has just as good of graphics of the ps3 and its just fun.also great games are avaliable for the xbox360 like halo 3 and other great games.

PS3 easily has the more powerful graphics engine. But the quality of the graphics depends on how much effort the game developers put into them. Games that are released on both PS3 and 360 have pretty much the same graphics. Games that are exclusive to the PS3 tend to have higher quality graphics because the PS3 uses Blu-ray instead of DVD.

ok so your concerned bout graphics? Well technically speaking the PS3 does have more power to get graphics than the 360, now ALL games ( except like 2 ) that are on both systems all look better on the 360... dont believe me check gamespot.com or google ( or bing ) 360 vs ps3 graphic comparison, i have not found 1 website that shows ps3 looks better... now it does register background more detailed but misses out on all the close stuff... plus with the ps3 you have to download the games to the harddrive to be able to play them at 360 speeds ( lol but if you download them to your 360 there even faster ) but they tend to still be "laggy" or "juttery". The ps3 can and probably will beat the 360 in graphics, but its gonna be a while till there ALL like that, and by then the its gonna time for some new consoles. But remember that "most" not all games will be slower or suffer from frame rate issues on the ps3, which in turn hurt how the game looks. That being said now most people debate whether or not Killzone 2 beats any games on the 360 ( graphics wise ) but thats debateable... BUT look at Uncharted 2 for the ps3 ( preferable hd ) and OMG! Lol that game just looks so amazing, that shows what the ps3 is capable of, but sadly most developers wont take the time to do that. So if your getting mostly 3rd party games ( cod, basketball, fighting etc ) get a 360 if you plan to get mostly 1st party games ( killzone and uncharted or gears of war and halo ) then proabably ps3 is best... but you gotta be patient. Again these are facts but most people cant tell the difference betweent the two unless actually looking for it, lol i being and audio and graphic freak for my gaming can tell the differences and thats why most of my gaming is done on the 360 and i play things like Uncharted 2 at my friends.
