What is an easy way to make money on Runescape?

  • I've tried to merchant, collect rare items, buy and re-sell at higher prices and it never fails that I never end up earning much money. So my question is: How can I make decent money fairly quick and fairly easy? If you know of a way to help my name on Runescape is FML NO LIFE...don't ask... so can someone give me some help on this?

  • Answer:

Well, you aren't ranked in hiscores in any skill that I can see (assuming your name is FML NO LIFE - single spaces), hence it will be quite difficult for you to make money by actually using your skills at your current level. The best way to make money is through combat, not non-combat skills as suggested by most people. Merchanting is the worst way, as you seem to have found out, as it is high risk, offers no xp while doing it, and even if you make money, it usually isn't a lot (and its usually lost when the market turns, and this can happen anytime thanks to Jagex being able to revalue any item they wish to any price - i lost 11m overnight thanks to them once). Anyway, I suggest you get your combat up, don't worry too much about other skills, although getting all skils 60+ is useful. Also, do not neglect doing quests, as they offer valuable shortcuts, not just physically, but in terms of reducing the time to do things, and time is money. If you can get from A to B in half the time, then you can potentially make twice as much money in the same given timeframe. If you do get manage to get 85+ in combat skills, particularly melee, consider fighting things which have consistent drops with the occasional rare drop. Fighting monsters which only give the occasional rare drop are a waste of time (e.g. hellhounds, mith dragons). Better off fighting something that has consistently good loot such as ice trolls, waterfiends, or even green dragons (which do not require a particularly high combat level). If you are really brave, you might want to fight things like tormented demons for rare drops, but this only pays off as long as the price of their sort-after drops are inflated. I wouldn't bother if D Claws dropped below 20m, as other things would then become more profitable. Hope this helps!

I do treasure trails(members only) and make about 200k ea. also, you could try thieving from the chests in runescape. another way is to kill green dragons for thier hides(worth about 1k ea.) and sell those.(they sell almost istantly!)

1. Get your smithing level to 25 and your mining level to at least 15. Then. go to Falador Mine at the mining site behind the Falador Castle. Get iron and go to the furnace. Then, go to Dorics (the little dwarf) and smith battle axes and other items such as square shields and long swords, which all sell over 50 gp each at the general store. Do this repeatedly to get easy money. Note: Sleep in the bed near Wayne's Chains. 2. Get your magic level up to 55 (high level alchemy) and buy a Runeite Medium for 8,000 to 10,000 gp. Use it on the Runeite Medium to get 11,500 gp. Buy another Runeite Medium and repeat those steps to get easy money. Note: This spell uses five Fire Runes and one Nature Rune. It is recommended that you get a Staff of Fire if you plan on doing this. 3. There are about seven spawn points for coins. In the wilderness, go to the Dark Warrior's castle and kill them until you get the Rare Black Mace and Black Medium Helmet, which both sell for a lot of gp. Get your crafting up to level 40 and make all kinds of jewelry, which also sell for a lot of money. Make Strength Potions and sell them by the wilderness in Varrock for 1,000 gp. Also make food and sell by the wilderness. 4. If your smithing level is 34 and mining is 20, go to Falador and to the Dwarven Mines. Keep mining until you have about 100 to 200 iron ore banked. Then, make all the bars you can. You should have between 50 to 100 bars. Smith them into Iron Chest Plates then go back to Varrok and sell them to Hovick The Armorer. If your smithing is lower, then smith Bronze Bars and make bronze two handed and large helms and items until you can make Bronze Chest Plates. Make those until your smithing is level 34, then repeat the steps for about 10,000 gp every five to ten minutes. 5. Get a pickaxe then mine at places. At first you will only be able to mine tin and copper. When your mining level reaches 15, you will be able to mine iron ore. When it gets to 20, you will be able to mine silver. You can use tin and copper ore in a furnace to create bronze bars. If you use iron ore in the furnace you will make iron bars, but sometimes the ore will be impure and will fail to create a bar. You can smelt silver ore to make silver bars, then craft that into jewelry. If you are level 30 mining, you can smith coal and trade them in at the Draynor Manor market for coal certificates. You can sell these certificates for 1000 gold each. 6. For easy money and thieving skill (members only), go to Ardougne where the stalls are located. Behind the bakers stall are two houses. You can pick their locks. Go to the one with no upstairs. Enter and search for traps on the chest and you will get ten gp. Go out the door. Pick the lock again and search for traps on the chest once more. Keep doing this and you will have fast thieving skill and money at the same time. http://www.rs4mil.com has many rs gold, you can also buy some , it is also an easy and fast way to get money

As far as I know, merchanting is by far the eisiest way to make money (From what I heard they ruined the 76k trick). But the only way to successfully merchant is if you merchant in a group. Just search around for a merchanting clan that you can join (Try not to get scammed) and buy out the prouduct they are buying (Wait until they start a new item, or else you may end up being dumped on). Then when they say dump or whatever, sell it all.

There are many ways to make money. 76king is actually a crap way to make money, but there are MANY other ways. I personally hunt Graahk fur, which makes me over 400k an hour, and is very easy. You could also hunt other items like Red Chinchompas. Or, you can enchant diamond bolts with magic, I think it is actually something around 85k XP an hour, and for money, I think around 200k+ an hour. You could also mine gold, mithril, adamantite, or even runite, if you have the levels. There are a lot of ways to make money... Just find a skill that makes money (Runecrafting, Hunter, Farming, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, or simply just fight things for drops) and stick with it. If you like it, then thats even better. Once you get started, don't give up. Set a goal amount of money for yourself though, and that makes you want to work even harder. I currently am attempting to catch 15k Graahk furs which is roughly of 100m. It will take a while, but it will be worth it.

It really depends on what skills you have. 76King no longer works due to Jagex update. Hope that Helped!
