What are the different fish seasons?

In the Sims 2 Seasons how do catch a fish??

  • I tried almost eveything , I clicked everywhere, I just can't catch a fish!! I have the insiminator installed.

    I have heard that the insiminator causes problems with some of the actions inherent to seasons, such as not being able to fish, make snow angels, problems getting into the garden club, trouble catching fireflies and butterflies, etc. It seems to be mostly minor bugs at this point though. If you just want to try fishing, then you simply remove the insiminator from your downloads folder, put it somewhere else, then add it back before you want to play again. Or if you want to be able to fish and do the other stuff all the time, then don't put the insiminator back. Then keep checking the insiminator site for an update that works correctly with Seasons.

I took one of the computer made parks that has a lake and placed it in my town. When you go out, all you have to do is click on the water. Make sure that you're a little closer to the edge of the lake b/c if you click the middle of the lake your Sim will complain it's too far. And if your Sim has a high enough cooking ability you're able to cook the fish w/ a new recipe.

first you must have a pond in your sims yard. i clicked on a lily pad and then chose fish using worm as that was the only option. i eventually caught a fish.
