You could download the games and use an emulator but this is illegal. Unfortunately I don't think there are any other possible way to play PS2 games on the PC. I believe sony allows you to download the games as a "back up" as long as you have the legal version. here's a website with the emulator. http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/ps2/ and here's a website for the "roms" http://romszone.com/thezone/rom_emulator_download.asp?emulatorcode=31 just type in ps2 roms and ps2 emulator for more results in google.com for the bios since you already have a ps2 you should be able to salvage it from your ps2 this is LEGAL. if you download a bios online this is ILLEGAL. http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-official-forum/83608-rfs-guide-dumping-your-ps2-bios-over-lan.html but you'll need your ps2 to be working.. so this is useless lol. sorry. if you're not scared of being hunted down you can download the bios. another pointer: download PG2 when you download P2P it blocks IPs and masks your IP completely so you're safe to download. http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/

You people are so uneducated. Yes, you can. However, you need a fantastic computer to do so. I have a 2.6gig dual core processor, Nvidia 8600 graphics card and 2 gigs of DDR2 ram and I get 4 frames per second. Unless you're running a very high quality computer, you won't be able to run the games very well. Unless, of course, the game I downloaded was just a bad rom, and it lagged more than usual. Anyways, to play a PS2 game you'll need a PS2 emulator, the PS2 bios, and PS2 roms. Try googling those to find them. (Downloading the bios & roms are illegal, therefore I can't tell you were to get them. The emulator should be easy enough to find.)

i need a ps2 emulator try googleing it if i want it that bad but in my opinion its not worth it cause its prob to laggy and complicated. however i recommend a dreamcast emulator...i have that and it works just fine. i love playing marvel vs capcom 2 in it

yea you can... you need to download an emulator which basically acts as a ps2, then you need to download roms, which are basically the games

You can , but you need about a $1800 computer. PS2 emulators are insanley hard to run , my computer runs a ps2 emulator at about 7 frames per second (which is unplayable). my comp -------------- Pentium 4 - 3.0 GHZ procesor Nvidia 6600 overclocked graphics card (128 ram) 1 GB of RAM I suggest getting a new PS2 if you really want to play them that bad.

Hmmm. Perhaps. I know I could play PS1 games on my PC using an emulator and acquiring the games' ROMs online, I don't see why it should be any different with the PS2. It'd be a little harder if not impossible to get games working using the original PS2 discs though.

To my knowledge, no one has created a PS2 emulator for any OS. I know there is PSX for PS games. Give it another couple of years and someone will have created one.

No you cant if you try it, it might wreck your computer just buy a new PS2 there pretty cheap
