How to make a capture card?

What kind of capture card do I need to make a xbox 360 machinima's?

• I want to make a machinima with a few friends but we don't know what kind of capture card we would use to make it. Also can the cards capture sound or do we need to edit the sound in ourselves?

  I would use a Dazzle. This is one I perfer when msking machinimas. It cost $50+ and comes with the program to use it. It also records sound from the game.
