Difference between PSP 2000 & PSP 2001; can you use an LCD screen meant for a 2000 on a 2001?

Okay, so what's the difference between a PSP 2000/2001? If so, how can you tell which is which? Also, I broke my LCD screen, so I'm going to buy a new one. I found one that says it is used for a PSP 2000, bit could you use it on a PSP 2001? Sorry for all the questions, but thanks!

Some places carry a large inventory of a brand new LCD panel replacement. If you are unable to find a particular model listed on their website then you can call or email to ask if they can help you find a screen replacement for a particular model.

There is no difference, when it says 200 it just means 2000 "series". I believe all units in North America are 2001, maybe there are 2002, 2003 etc in other countries. I fix them and am 100% sure of this? How much are you paying for the LCD? I get mine at http://parts.consolerepairguy.com and they sell for I think $59. Good luck!
