Sims 2 Help! (Installation for The Expansion Packs)?

• I had installed The Sims 2 Special Edition 2007 which consist of nightlife, university, open for business and family fun stuff, and i can play them successfully happy. However, when I try to install other expansion packs(seasons, pets), when it goes for update, it kept saying that i haven't installed my Sims 2 properly, and the expansion pack can't be installed! What happened actually and how can I installed them properly so they can be updated? Help!

  O.K. Each game is a separate disk in the Special Edition, right? Try totally uninstalling the games then reinstalling the games in the order that they came out. So it would be Sims 2 base game, University, Nightlife, Open For Business, Family Fun Stuff, Pets, then Seasons. Just make sure to TOTALLY uninstall the games before reinstalling them. Otherwise you will have problems reinstalling them. I use the free Revo Uninstaller I downloaded off the web because it totally takes the games out of the computer and off the registry. Hopefully installing them in order will help. (unless you already have.)
