Should I trade in my PS3 for a 360?

• Let me start off by saying that I have a PS3 right now, and I only want one of the major consoles (I don't count the Wii). I just find that having both a PS3 and a 360 is a bit excessive. No offense to those that do, but that's just me. Right now I really like my setup. I have a 27" HDTV in the basement that I use just for gaming. Hooked up to it is my PS3, as well as my Wii,which I hardly ever use... I'd be trading that in too if I decide to go with the 360. I enjoy having the PS3 because of the Blu-Ray, and it's reliability. Plus I''ll admit... I've always"Sony guy". If that makes me a fanboy, fine, whatever. I'm not sure if I just want a change, or if I'm just not confident in Sony's ability to come through this gen. Don't get me wrong, the PS3 has some amazing games (Resistance 2, Metal Gear Sold 4, and Little Big Planet are great... plus future titles like Heavy Rain and God of War 3 I'm sure will be stellar). But I'm really tired of Sony's mantra of "Just wait and see" or "Be patient". Well, I'm tired of being patient. But, I also know that many of the great games out right now are for both systems (like Grand Theft Auto IV, Fallout 3 and Rock Band). While Sony truly has some awesome exclusives, I feel as though I'm missing out on Gears of War, Fable, and Mass Effect ( I don't have a PC, I'm on a Mac), which I've always wanted to play. But, for 360 exclusives, I'm not sure what else is on the horizon for me that I personally would want to play (that doesn't have the name "Halo" attached to it). So, I have a big decision to make. The PS3's reliability and future, vs the 360, which is mechanically unstable, but flourishing right now. I'm also aware of the new 360's and the ability to rip games onto the HDD, but I still don't trust it not to break. As much as I want the 360 now, I just don't want to be regretting it a year from now when Blu-Ray is in full swing, Home has matured a bit, and God of War 3 is out. What would you do?

  "Be patient". by saying that you answer your own question lol have all 3 is not to much the ps3 will pull out but they just having a slower time in making games then we are all use to in ps (we use to being so slam with tons of ps games that some get miss (okami is one good example of that ) get a 360 i say but hang on to your ps3 because they will come out with good games p.s. (i feel your pain with the WII btw because i fail for that new look to even tho it just a sup up version of the game cube with hard Controls for dev to use (which is why they have to many mini games on the wii and not enough real ones -_-) (also the game cube was a sup up version of the n64 lol >_> i see a pattern ) if you want alot of fun games now instead of waiting 2 years for good games on the wii to be as close as the ps3 then i would sell the wii lol (mines is just collecting dust to -_-) if your lucky ( like i wish i was you got the early ps3 that backwards compatible in that case ( NEVER SELL IT) because the new ones don't have that which sucks balls since that was the only reason i wanted the ps3 in the frist place now i don't know if im getting it or not ) as for the 360 your right they have way more good games (ps3 had a bad start but will finish strong) i have the halo 360 (sadly i had to play with it because it the only 360 i had lol T_T) but i never had to turn it in to the shop yet so (and if your worry it will get a red ring just buy a fan because that what causing the red rings ( it over heat because the fan in the old ones was to small) hope that help...........really man if you trade your ps3 in im will have to kill you lol!!!! really tho it a waste of money to trade in your system since you don't get much you better off selling it on ebay or some place.
