Where is the best place to buy ps2 games?

Should I buy a PS2 off of eBay or through Gamestop?

  • eBay is alot cheaper but I'm afraid that I'll get a crappy one. I don't know if you guys have ever heard of Gamestop (i don't know if its just a new england store or if its national. Its a place where you can buy sell and trade video games and systems.) Sorry that this is my billionth question one PS2 =P

    u should buy it from game stop i got mine from there and it is in shape. dont get it from ebay, u dont really know what it has been through. (p.s. game stop, e b games etc. are everywhere in tha u.s.a. in england, everywhere)

get it through a store , but not used because it is harder to return/exchange for a different one. I worked at Toys R Us video games for 4 years and I can tell you that a newer set is easier to exchange than a used one. Buying a used set s tricky because you don't know how long it has been played with or even how good it still is.

If I was you,I would wait for the new PS3 to come out,go to gamestop and reserve you a system(when available,ask @ gamestop)And you will be alot happier, I mean it,trust me I am right! If you do take my advice,thank me later. and one more thing,your welcome !!!

You're right, Ebay is much cheaper but Ebay may not be very safe. I have used Ebay for about two years. I've only purchased two items from them, other times I have sold things. You just have to be extremely cautious when dealing with online purchases. Be sure to ask questions and get as much detail from the seller as possible. Best of luck

you can be protected on eBay, I think they sell warranties, and also if you use paypal then you can sometimes get your money back gamestop is the safer option though, all you need to do is buy it and they should have automatic warranty either way though I would wait a bit, prices will probably drop some more after the PS3 starts selling

No Gamestop is also in the mid-west. I bought my PS2 from there and have had no problems. Also bought my X/box 360 from there too. I can olny recommend Gamestop because I can't bring myself to buy electronics on e-bay... I'm scared too. Good Luck.

gamestop. you'll have a reseipt and you can go back if there are problems. never buy anything too expensive or delicate through ebay.

I recommend Gamestop. that way you can look and test it out first. the link below will help anyone find a location near them..Also ***SOME***Blockbuster Video locations have a seperate store attached to them in which you can buy, Sell and trade your games and video's

it depends what you want to pay. if you want it really cheap, get it off of ebay. but like you said, there is no gaurentee of its quality. if you want one that is gaurenteed to work, go to Gamestop. ps. gamestop is a nationwide store.

buy it at target, walmart, or whatever superstore you have in new england. it's much safer than ebay, but same as gamestop.
