How To Play Runescape On Proxy?

RuneScape...?

  • I used to play RuneScape and i stopped for a while. Now i wanna go back and after i select my world it wont load and says i need activityx or soemthing, i click to install it but it wont let me and says something about my internet proxy settings. all i wanna do is check my runescape account. how do i get it to work?

what do you mean "check your account"? if you only want to check your stats, you can go to the high scores section on the main page if you want to see what you all have in your bank account, go to, when you select high or low detail for the game, underneath the advertisement, there should be a place to select either a signed java applet (several variations) or unsigned. try clicking on the unsigned, and then try playing the game.

Sorry, can't tell you anything to help but it used to do the same with me, then I got a new computer. Maybe you should get a new computer!?!?

If none of the above things help, you should try updating your Java to the latest version.

im pretty sure you may need to enable/disable cookies then try it, because if the installation opens in a new window cookies may block it. also check your pop up blocker, you may need to disable it from that particular site. if none of those work, try a friends house!
