How do you make custom songs for guitar hero and rockband?

Answer:

Technically you can't, but you can download more songs from the xbox marketplace. Hopefully one day they will let you make your own.

You can only do custom songs on a PS2. Also, the PS2 has to be modded and the Guitar Hero game has to be hacked.
