Whats a better game, chrono trigger of dragon quest iv for the ds?

i only have enough for one game and i like rpgs. i just finished final fantasy iv for the ds and loved it, so im looking for something similar with a great story and not a short game, so right now its between chrono trigger or dragon quest iv, or if you have any other suggestions, please let me know
