How do I make Wario Ware: Do It Yourself work for my Nintendo Ds Lite?

My firmware is v1.21 and i can't play Wario Ware: Do It Yourself and also new games like Despicable Me and more. Is there anything that I need to install to make it work? Please help me! :( Thanks.. :)
