Xbox 360 trade in to gamestop help?

  • Im selling my old xbox 360 console to gamestop and i wanted to know how much money (if any) they will take off if it has a little writing on it, or if they would even take it at all. My little brother wrote his name on it in sharpie and i cant get it off.

    They would take it, but they wouldn't even give you $15. Gamestop is the worst place to trade in anything. - Try selling it on Craigslist or Ebay, but check other ones selling in somewhat the same condition

they probably wont take it i suggest selling it on ebay so you get 3x more money i went to gamestop to sell mine and they said they would give me 110 with 2 games on ebay i sold the exact same thing but for 340 if you want a quick sale go to gamestop and if you want cash sell it on ebay or amazon

First off: One does not simply "trade in an xbox 360 at gamestop" 2nd: harpie can be removed with something called acetone (also found in nail-polish remover). the price they will give you for your console depends on several things: - Age - Damage - type of Xbox For example: My Xbox 360 is 4 years old (the bulky white version) has scratches and dents all over but still works fine! as this console is on the verge of death they would offer me less than 20 bucks for it while i can sell it on ebay for working parts for at least 80 - 120 bucks! try selling it to a friend or on craigslist/ ebay!

They will only give you like 20 bucks they are cheap and try selling it on craigslist! you can get probably 100 to 150 bucks! Also take any thing aerosol "axe, old-spice,hair spray, Lysol," And spray it on a paper towel and it will wipe the sharpie right off! As crazy as it sounds it really works...

Well, my brother traded in my old 120gb HD XBOX 360 and with the 120gb HD, XBOX (console), one controller, & MW2... he got $71 on a gift card (was told he'd get $18 if he wanted cash). My suggestion.... sell it on Ebay... you'll get more for it.
