How do i put items i downloaded on my sims game?

  • i recently downloaded stuff for the sims, how do i put it on my game? i downloaded the stuff from download.com

    There should be a folder called ea games in you "MY Documents", inside it there is a folder called Sims 2; and in that folder, if it is not already there, create a folder called "downloads" save the downloads in there, you may have to extract the files, and it should work.

Go to - My Computer Program Files Maxis The Sims Game Data Walls go in the walls folder, Floors go in the floors folder, Skins go in the skins folder, and objects into the objects folder. If you have expansion packs, buyable skins you download go into skinsbuy. There's a way to make certain skins buyable, but you have to change the filename.
