When will the next ps3 and xbox 360 price drop be?

Which do you consider to be better? Xbox 360 or PS3?

  • I don't currently have the money for a new console, but when I do, I am left at a baffling decision each gamer has gone through at least once in their life. I was leaning more towards the Xbox 360, but the price drop on the PS3 is something I cannot ignore. Let me list personal reasons for both: Xbox 360: #1: Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts. I waited eight years for this game. #2: Halo #3: The Rare Microsoft buyout- one of my favorite game companies only makes games for Microsoft owned systems. PS3: #1: Metal Gear Solid 4: I can't miss the conclusion! #2: Little Big Planet: Who DOESN'T want to play this? #3: No "Red Ring of Death" #4: Sony is the only company that hasn't completely sold out in favor of the "casual gamer" demography. Can you come up with more reasons for me to make my decision easier?

    I'd go for the PS3. When Final Fantasy XIII comes out (I'm sure you'll want it), it'll be much better to have on Blu-ray versus DVD. (Since games are on Blu-rays, not just movies. It will take 3 DVDs to fit FF XIII, which seems kind of low-tech for this generation of systems.) Plus, if you want to play online every now and again, like me, PS3 is great, since you're not tied down paying for the online. Plus, we have a ton of great exclusives, like those you mentioned MGS and LBP, plus one of my other favorites, Killzone 2. Sure, Xbox has Halo and GOW, but that's about all I've seen in above posts....Pretty soon those could run outta gas....I've never quite understood the hype. Plus, Sony seems committed to a 10+ year life for the console. The PS2 has been out since October 2000, and it's still getting games.

It all depends on what kind of games you like. 360 has all the mature games and the best FPS games. PS3 is like mostly rpg games. PS3 does come with blue ray, but it has no PS2 playback capability. I'll go for the 360 because of the Halo series.

PS3.Metal Gear Solid 4 is the best.Little Big Planet is perfect.HD graphics better than any console and a lot of exclusive games.Sony always makes the best.PS3 ROCKS. most People buy Xbox 360 because it is cheaper.

Here is why I would get the PS3: -It's a blue-ray player -better graphics -more exclusive games -free online play compared to $50 a year for the 360 - built in wifi comepared to having to buy a $100 modum for the 360 Hope this helps buddy

xbox has halo3 gaers of war and if u play call of duty u actually shoot with the triggers as apposed to the buttons lol xbox. ps3's only advantages are free online and better graphics but idrc bout graphics

Get the PS3!!!!!!!!!!! I cant tell you enough. 360 has no advantage.and if you like online gaming 360 sux you have to pay to play ps3 you dont.

The Red Ring of Death is a hardware failure, and the PS3 does have that. It's a blinking light instead of a flashing ring. Based on your personal reasons, I would go with the PS3, although I would choose the 360 over it any day. It's superior in online gaming and, although I am not a Microsoft fan by any means, I don't see any purpose in getting a PS3 unless you want a blu-ray player. Also, it seems that the 360 has more games than the PS3, and that most of the games offered for PS3 are available on the 360, but not vice versa. A Gold membership for Xbox live is only thirteen cents a day. A silver membership is free.

i have both, u can do alot with ps3, but personaly i say the xbox360 is better, and if u get the 360, let me know cuz i can help u with info and good deals and stuff, Hope tht helps u (:
