How to play sims 3 without a cd?

Can someone please tell me step by step how to apply a crack to play my sims 2 game without a cd?

• I am not computer literate at all so if someone could explain it to me as easy as possible it would be greatly appreciated. I know where to find the cracks I just dont know where to put them or how to save them to the sims fie so i can play it.

  Well, what kind of crack are you talking about? If its just a simple .exe, then heres what to do. Alright, go to your Sims 2 files(Usually somewhere in c:\program files) Then find the original .exe(Not a short cut), and you can either replace it with the crack .exe, or you can just keep it and name the crack something else, but place it in the same folder as the original exe. Then, just click on the crack and the game should start, this is assuming there are no other problems though.
