Who is going to buy a Nintendo Revolution, and why?

• If anyone doesn't know, the Nintendo Revolution is Nintendo's next-generation console that takes a very interesting approach to gaming. It is using a controller that uses motion sensors, and is getting a whole lot of media attention, and third party support, something Nintendo hasn't seen in a while. Nintendo has been taking a very innovative approach to gaming as of late (with the Nintendo DS) and has been doing amazingly well, and it looks like they will be continuing that legacy with the Revolution. Nintendo has also announced that along with the console, they are going to include a service called "virtual console" which is basically Nintendo's iTunes. It will offer every game from Nintendo's back catalog, as well as games from the Sega Genesis and NEC Turbografix. I am definately going to get one, and I am very excited. The reason I am getting one is because I am very excited about pretty much everything about the machine, and it looks amazing.

  yes, it is amazing. have you seen red steel? it's this revolution-exclusive title from ubisoft (makers of prince of persia, etc). basing from the screenshots, you can shoot and slash (with a katana) enemies using the freehand controller. the graphics look pretty good as well, even better than what i'v seen from xbox360 -_- i'm buying the revolution (or whatever its name will be) because nintendo has the best games. i don't really care about the graphics. it's the gameplay that matters. hell we ddnt love tetris or pokemon because of the graphics, right? innovation is definitely the key. and besides, the gamecube is still at par with ps2 and xbox. metroid prime, resident evil and zelda are dead giveaways. :) i forgot who said this, but it went on like this: we're (nintendo) like selling a car not because of the brute horsepower, but the possibilities this car can take you. it made my hair stand up. hahaha
